Releases

Factory Box Set

Section 25 are featured on a 4 cd collection of factory records music released on rhino/warners music late november 08.

Section 25 tracks include "Girls Don't Count", "New Horizon" and "Looking From A Hilltop".

The project will have original artwork by Peter Saville, an essay by Paul Morley and is compiled by Jon Savage

"Dirty Disco", (Best Of) Album released by LTM Cat No LTMCD 2515 31st March 2008.

This CD celebrates 30 years of Section 25, the band that puts the FUN back into dysfunction.

The album features eight key album tracks spanning two centuries as well as the singles Knew Noise, Dirty Disco, Haunted, Beating Heart, Looking From A Hilltop, Crazy Wisdom and Bad News Week.

The CD includes a booklet featuring new and archive images, choice comments plus a detailed band chronology up to the present lineup.

Planned release of live concert DVD on LTM of the memorable Factory Night (Once Again) on 19th May 2008. A superbly filmed record of an historic night at Plan K, the Brussels venue of the original and now legendary Factory Nights. Artists included:- Kevin Hewick/Names/Crispy Ambulance/Section 25.

Shot in high definition with five cameras and a digital stereo soundtrack, the live section of the DVD (cat no LTMDVD 2519) features more than 2 hours of in-concert highlights (29 tracks) from all four bands. Also featuring S25's storming encore of the New Order classic "Temptation"with Peter Hook guesting on Bass.

Bonus features on the NTSC format region 0 DVD include poster and photo galleries, as well as a rare 1981 television interview with Annik Honore exploring the early history of Plan K, Fac Benelux and Les Disques du Crepescule.

Fes-Fest Benefit show for Fes Parker, West Coast, Blackpool, Lancashire, England.

Fri 12th September, Section 25 are proud to have been invited to play at a benefit concert for local legend Fes Parker. Fes has recently been diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus and Simon Morris (Ceramic Hobs) is putting together a benefit night for him. 9pm - 2am - all door money will go to to Fes.

Thu 6th Nov 2008, Section 25 are proud to announce a joint live date with Peter Hook

Venue: Elysee Montmartre, 72 Boulevard Rochechouart, 75018 Paris, France.

Following their collaboration at the Plan-K gig Section 25 and Hooky have teamed up for a series of concerts. They will be playing Joy Division and New Order songs in a joint collaboration at their first live show of a small mini tour.

This is the first date in a planned minitour, other dates to be announced.
